Ski for Light, Inc. provides publications and other materials and tools to keep those in the SFL community informed about the activities and progress of the organization, and to tell the SFL story to those who want to know more about us. Included are hard-copy publications, online publications and documents, videos, and social media tools and connections.

The Annual Report of Ski for Light, Inc. provides highlights of program activities and financial reports for the most recent fiscal year.

The Ski for Light Bulletin is the newsletter of Ski for Light, Inc. It contains news and Information about the Programs and people of SFL, and is published three times each year.

Ski for Light provides information and materials to help recruit new guides and participants.

  • The SFL Speakers Packet provides an outline and set of talking points, plus supporting materials, to assist you in making a presentation to an organization or group who might be interested in the Ski for Light program. Most new guides and participants learn of SFL via a personal recommendation, so this can be a very effective way to spread the SFL story.
  • The SFL Media Center contains recruitment materials suitable for forwarding to an individual or group. Included are a guide recruitment flyer, a general news release about the next event, a fact sheet about the next event, and a short history of Ski for Light.

Here are two viddeos that were created during the 2024 event in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

  • Find Your Home at Ski for Light captures the magic of the SFL experience for participants (2 minutes 28 seconds)
  • SFL 2024: If We Can Do This We Can Do Anything describes the imaginative and creative efforts taken to create a memorable experience for participants despite weather and other challenges. (8 minutes 43 seconds)

The Ski for Light YouTube Channel contains several videos about the organization, including the videos linked above.

Ski for Light at 50, the commemorative book that summarizes the first 50 years of the organization, may be ordered at sfl.org/publications/book

Jim Salestrom created and recorded this Ski for Light Song to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the organization in 2015.
