One of the highlights of the non-skiing portion of the Ski for Light International week, for most people, is the Special-Interest Sessions that are held several afternoons after skiing, from Tuesday through Friday. There are usually three concurrent sessions each afternoon, each lasting about an hour. And if weather conditions are so poor that skiing is not possible or safe, Special-Interest Sessions expand into additional time periods throughout the day.
Special-Interest Sessions are informal gatherings of participants to hear and learn about someone's hobby, job, culture, or interests, or about a topic of interest such as adaptive equipment, ski equipment, or almost any topic you can think of that would be of interest to others.
